My name is Rabbi Barak Hetsroni and it has been my honour and privilege to be serving the Montreal, Canada community as a Certified Mohel for over 10 years.

As a Rabbi working at the Jewish General Hospital, I have the utmost compassion and patience in walking new parents through the momentous ceremony that is the brit milah. Rest assured, the safety and comfort of the newborn baby is always my main concern.

I received my degree in advanced training of circumcision skills under the tutelage of the prominent and respected Mohel, Rabbi Yaakov Shechter, a well-known instructor in Israel who is certified by Israel’s health ministry and chief rabbinate. I am certified to perform the circumcision ceremony in both the Sefarad and Ashkenaz traditions.

I preform the ceremony in the hospital, in synagogues, in private homes and travel throughout Canada. As a Rabbi working in a hospital, I am meticulous about taking all necessary COVID-19 precautions.
